ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
A single picture above the hearth in the large study of Malfoy manor had been the lone object in which a set of cold grey eyes stared for what seemed like hours. Had it been possible a hole may have been bored into the old picture. Glaring may have been a more appropriate word to use at the moment, Lucius was in a bit of a foul mood you could say, he detested the feeling you acquired when boredom set in, like there was nothing you could do to make you feel more useful. His schedule was completely clear for this afternoon, not having to drone on at the ministry until it was time for him to leave. Usually he would have enjoyed that but today was completely different for him, the house was too quiet. That’s what he figured made today different; it was also a Saturday which could have made things worse, not to mention what happened when you factored in waiting. Oh how he loathed it.
But this was a different sort of waiting Lucius figured, he was waiting for a certain arrival one that would be worth the wait he figured. It had been a bit of a while since he’d last seen Narcissa her still being at school and Lucius was a rather busy man at this time. But he’d said he would make time for her and it would probably be best if he made well on that promise of sorts. He’d owled her earlier on in the week and requested a visit from her, a simple request he figured, having her come to seem him, get her out of the castle spend some quality time together. Lucius saw no reason why there would be an objection, and there hadn’t been. So it was that reason why he was waiting, his grey eyes flicking to the grandfather clock that stood in the corner. Five hours left until she was due to arrive at the manor which caused him to heave a heavy sigh. He needed something to busy his time with but an empty house wouldn’t do much for that.
Pushing his well proportioned frame out of the old styled wingback chair he stalked forward, stopping just beside the roaring fire place drawing back the curtains of the ceiling to floor window. It was overcast, but that was nothing new, it was England after all and Lucius was quite use to fact by now. Leaning his shoulder up against the windows frame and watched the surrounding grounds of his house. He was going to drive himself insane if he didn’t find something to do with his time; he cursed himself for waking up so early. Hearing the clock chime again, sixty minutes after the last one Lucius turned on his heels and decided busy himself in a different room, possibly the kitchen, see if the house elves had any sort of food whipped up. Of course they should, it was what he expected of them and luckily they’d taken the switch of power from his father’s hands to his quite nicely, though Lucius figured that was probably because he was more tolerable in a sense.!
