ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
"Sweetie, do I look alright?" a soft, gentle voice of a woman asked. He turned to look at her, returning a smile. She had her honey-brown hair up in a smile bun, tendrils of hair falling out of it, slightly curled on the ends to give it a slightly more elegant look. Her dress had wide straps on it, though they still collected only on her shoulders, and the length was just above her knees. The color was a gentle purple color, and around her neck was a necklace of about the same color. Her shoes were a black, with only a slight heel. It was all simplistic, yet she somehow made it look nice.
"You look great, mom." he said. He was busy putting on slacks and a dress shirt, though without a tie or jacket. They weren't going to a top star restaurant, but it was still a little fancy, which was something that he wasn't used to, as his mother and him had always been just about dirt poor. He didn't like the idea of this man stealing away his mother. From since he had been a year old, it was only himself and his mother, as his dad died over-dosing on drugs. From what he had heard, he was a bum who didn't have any creditability. He was glad he was dead. He didn't mind working to help support himself and his mother, so long as his mother wasn't busting her butt just so they had the essentials. It was better this way. But now that this man stepped into her life..... it was like she didn't need him as much anymore.
He had asked her several times why she didn't take his money, as from what he heard he was rather rich, but she responded with something along the lines of justice and that she didn't date him for his money, which was just like her to say that. She would date another bum if he treated her right. She had done so before, but he ad chased them off. He even started calling all of the people she dated by one name. 'Robert'. It was an easy name to remember, and that way, he wouldn't have to learn any names.
"Alright, Jaimie, let's get going. It'll be a bit before we get there. It's a thirty minute drive." she said, kissing his head lightly. That's another thing he liked about his mother. She didn't wear lipstick, and she didn't smother herself with perfume. She usually smelled like fresh linen anyways. What was the point of smelling like some kind of stupid flower?
"That's fine, mom. Do you want me to drive?" he questioned, grabbing the keys off of the counter. He smiled at her when she nodded, digging in her purse for the very keys that he had in his hand. He jingled them in front of her, smiling when she laughed. He loved when she laughed. He might have a Mother Complex, but so what? It wasn't like he wanted to marry his mother. He just wanted to protect her.
He got in the car after opening and closing the door for his mother, and drove off. Just as she said, it was about thirty minutes before the arrived at the restaurant, though they were rather early. They were seated on the same side of the table. They started talking about how work was that day, as Jaimie worked at a restaurant, lower class than this one, and Lora, his mother, worked at a hospital as a nurse. The stories just got extremely interesting, and before long, they were absorbed in their conversation.
^Totally from something else. xD ^
