ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Arrow opened his eyes and looked around the unfamiliar room. He had no idea where he was, or how he had gotten here. He looked at the clock on the wall, 11.30… how could it be 11.30, Arrow had gone to the stables until 1. He sat up and moved his arm, as it was stiff and frowned when it stuck, and he felt something stick into him. He looked down at his arm to see a drip in it, he had no idea what was in it, but he didn’t want it. He wanted to find Ash and then leave. He sighed, and started unwrapping the bandage from his hand and gave up after a few seconds and ripped out the drip and the needle. He swore when his wrist started bleeding and grabbed the bandage back and wrapped it tight around his wrist to stop the bleeding. He looked out into the hallway, and wondered where they had put his clothes. Probably burnt them by now. He sat up more and looked at his wrist, nope, still bleeding. He sighed as he moved his legs slowly off the side of the bed, and muttered when he felt something like a brick on his stomach, and pulled up his shirt somewhat to have a look, there was a gauze patch taped to him. He tried to remember what happened, but it was all fuzzy.
He remembered something about a mine, and a snake, and that Ash had helped him, but that was it, and he could remember the pain, but he wasn’t gonna tell anyone else that, was he? He started moving his legs again, swinging them off the side of the bed and placing them on the floor. Wincing, he put his hand on his side and stood up, swaying slightly, so he grabbed onto the bed to help steady him and took a cautious step. His legs felt like jelly, but they held him up, so he kept walking, still with his hand on the bed. He was walking with a limp, whether that was from the snake bite, or his stomach, he had no idea, he just kept walking. He was curious to see how much Ash remembered about the whole ordeal, and maybe he could help him fill in the gaps. He got to the door of his room and looked out into it, ok, there was no in the hall, maybe they were on the lunch break or something. He looked at the door to the room he was in ICU, why was he in ICU, he thought he was fine right now, but that was just him being an idiot.
He took a step into the hallway, not leaning on anything now, and his legs still felt kind of like Jelly, but they were getting there. He walked down along the hallway, looking for Ash’s room, if Ash was still even at the hospital. He walked all the way down the hall, and had to stop at the end of the hallway, that little walk had tired him out to the point where he almost wanted to sleep again. He shook the tiredness away and spotted the phone. Calling the front desk with a button on the side Arrow heard someone ask how they could help him. “Hey, I’m after Ash Collin’s room number?” He said, his voice was dry and cracked with thirst. He listened as she told him where he was and he sighed, he was a floor down, which meant stairs. Arrow knew there was an elevator, but he had an irrational fear of them. He walked towards the fire door slowly, knowing that they would be behind there, he took a few steps in and looked at the stairs and breathed out. He knew this was gonna hurt, but he hoped it wouldn’t damage his stitches.
He walked down them slowly, cursing as he took each step slowly, each one jolting his body with pain at the contact. Eventually he breathed a sigh of relief as he made it down the flight of stairs. He opened the door, and this floor was bustling with activity, from visitors, and nurses alike. He found the room that the person had told him to go to, and walked into it.
