ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Katy smiled at Eli and remembered how they had first met. Eli was off upper-middle class and Katy was of the upper class. Eli could, therefore, hang out with the group of people she hung out with. With his charm and wit, Eli had won them all over within a matter of minutes. She had been younger then, but not much. She still got the butterflies in her stomach like she had that day. Their feelings for each other had steadily developed until Katy wanted nothing more then for Eli to ask her out. And he did. It was so cute and so sweet, she couldn't have said no if she had wanted to. Countless nights, she'd stayed up in the dormitory with her cat, Mosca, thinking about him. Wondering if he was doing the same.
Hell, Eli had even gotten up the courage to meet Katy's father. Tobias was a scary man, espeically when it came to his little girl. But Eli won him over with that same charm. She had met his parents as well and they had loved her to death. She had enjoyed spending the holidays at his house with his family. Alas, they had been the power couple of the school. The boys were jealous of Eli and the girls were jealous of Katy. But even though they were the couple that everyone else wanted to be like, that wasn't why Katy dated him. She had dated him because holding his hand had made her stomach flutter, and kissing him made her knees weak. It was the first time she'd been in love. Still, her eyes almost teared at the rememberance of what had once been.
Despite watching his body, Katy did notice how Eli's beautiful, chocolate brown eyes followed her hair and she gave him a sweet smile. His eyes lingered there a few moments too long which made Katy's smile grow. Could it be? Could Eli still fancy her? Well, that would be fantastic. His eyes met hers again and she froze. Blue eyes stared into brown, she quickly blinked and looked down. She knew he had seen her admiring him. Maybe she shouldn't be so blunt? No. Damn it, she was Katherine Warrington! One of the hottest girls at Hogwarts. She could openly admire anyone she wanted and she would enjoy it! She watched him smirk and was glad that she was sitting down. He took the seat she had offered and she mirrored his sip of butterbeer. She nodded at his reply, unable to make her voice work. Why was she so flustered? She was never like this around the boys she liked.
Katy didn't want to make things weird, she enjoyed being with Eli. So instead of acting flustered, Katy pushed her feelings down and leaned back in her chair, her signature smirk on her face. "So, how have you been, Eli?" She asked gently, at least her voice was calm and cool like usual. In her head she replayed their first time. How his skin had felt against hers, how their lips had moved together, how beautiful it had been. She blinked at was staring at Eli again, only he was fully dressed and not amidst the tangled sheets.
And yet, Katy had a boyfriend now. She had briefly dwelled on Scorpius Malfoy but that was short lived. Now, she was currently dating Stephen Whitby. He was good for her. He was a good boy. Perhaps he would be what Katy had been missing since Eli. She needed a rock, sombody to stand by her and allow her to be herself. Sure, she'd had plenty of boyfriends since Eli. How many of them had actually meant something to her? None, actually. They were just for status, nothing more. Eli had had a few girls as well. The thought sent a flurry of jealousy through her. She'd seen him with those others girls. She had fake giggled to what the other boy was saying and stared down Eli's girl when he wasn't looking. In truth, Katy had never stopped liking Eli, ever.
Katy laughed softly. "You're worried about me? You shouldn't be, I'm more worried about you." She winked at him and took a sip of her butterbeer. Katy caught the look in Eli's eye when he made his next comment and frowned. "What's that supposed to mean?" She asked, fake hurt written across her face. She knew what he meant. Lots of guys would just like to have the chance to talk to her, let alone be in the situation that Eli was in now, actually having a conversation and a table with her. It wasn't easy getting to her social status. It had taken seven years and she was finally at the top. "Just bored, I couldn't stand playing queen bitch anymore." Katy giggled. Eli knew that the whole mean girl act was simply that, an act. She was nice underneath, a side that Eli got to see regularly. "What about you?"
