LOATHES: Sluts, or those girls that are in his mind a bit too desperate.
People that seem to lack in the brains department, Being insulted or taunted, Losing, High pitched noises, Extreme heat, butterbeer - he thinks the stuff tastes vile. Small rooms (he gets a tad claustrophobic) and having nothing to do
BOGGART: This is tricky. Colton has a few fears but most of them are minor and he rolls his eyes at himself - these are simply fears like falling off his broom and having to miss a few quidditch matches. As for his main fear it would have to be failing and getting nowhere in life, despite all his hard work. He fears being all alone and poor and possibly living on the street having to scrounge for money.
DEMENTOR: Finding his mother sobbing in her bedroom, trying to find out what was the matter, and then finding out a second later. It's a secret, shh.
PATRONUS: Carrying out his very first spell. His mother actually smile for once and looked happy - a rare occurence. His patronus, therefore, is, a snow leopard cub.
VERITASERUM: His father is telling Colton he is now betrothed, but Colton has no idea who to...and like hell he'll go along with it. He keeps a lot of his personal life secret from people that are not his close friends - he just views it as, well, personal. Look at boggart for another secret..
STRENGTHS: Colton is a very determined sort of boy. Once he has his mind set on something then he'll do his absolute best to try and achieve the aim. He doesn't give up easily and he is well motivated. He's also very intelligent and does very well academically and will definitely keep a secret if you confide in him, unless it is a secret that could, for example, lead to death. He's also a Quidditch God. Well, that sounds a tad egotistical, but he's pretty damn good at it, and he's extremely strong - his muscles aren't the bulging sort that are visible a hundred miles away, but he has a mean set of abs He's a beater so it all fits.
WEAKNESSES:He's quick to judge you based on your appearance. For example if you're wearing a short skirt and a tight top then he'll assume you're looking for trouble, or are a slut. If you have dirty hair and clothes that are a bit baggy or have huge tears then he might think you are a tramp. He also has a monster of a temper. He lashes out as tiny insults aimed at him or his family. He tend to resort to physical violence with bare fists because that is just what he naturally does in the heat of the moment, and he is also not all that great with carrying out curses with his wand. He has the brains, it's just the practical stuff he sometimes doesn't do so well in and this frustrates him greatly. He practices and practices, but apparently sometimes it doesn't make perfect.

FATHER: Leander Montague , 46, Colton isn't quite sure what his father does anymore. It's all very secretive, Death Eaters, Slytherin
SIBLINGS: None
OTHER IMPORTANT FIGURES: his uncle Graham Montague, was a Slytherin at Hogwarts at the same time as Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. He was a chaser on the Quidditch Team and eventually Captain. He was also a part of the Inquisitorial Squad when it was around. He's not terribly important but Colton at least admires him for his quidditch abilities.
WEALTH STATUS: Wealthy
BIRTHPLACE: Florence, Italy
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Yorkshire, England
OVERVIEW: Colton was born in November 2003, making him almost seventeen. His upbringing was not an absolute catastrophe but was hardly a very loving one either. His father was usually away for long periods of time and when he was home he would only scold Colton when he made mistakes, and fail to praise him for when he did well. This made Colton unhappy from a young age and gave him his streak to always try and succeed and be the best in everything. His mother was more caring and obviously loved her son but always appeared unhappy and rarely smiled, which worried Colton and brought down the whole atmosphere in the household. Colton always suspected that his father was cruel to his mother but he was never able to actually prove this, although he dared to accuse his father a few times which didn't end well. Leander Montague has an angry streak and this is probably where Colton gets his own streak from.
Living in a big house all by yourself with only your miserable mother and a few servants around meant that Colton was fairly lonely before going to Hogwarts and he taught himself to keep occupied with things such as reading and writing, and then he took an interest in Quidditch after his father surprisingly took him to watch an international Quidditch match between Ireland and Hungary when he was seven years old. Colton was enamored and he begged his father to buy a broom. After receiving his broom for his eighth birthday Colton went into his reasonably sized garden and the fields near his house and flew every single day at every given opportunity. It was a welcome escape from his boredom and it was immensely fun for him, although, of course, playing by yourself can get boring eventually too. He was not a complete loner though, and if I give you that impression then I must apologise. He was usually alone but from time to time his family did meet up with other old pureblood families, particularly those families that his father kept close relationships with. Some of those families had a few children Colton's age and he struck up a friendship with a few of the boys, and one or two of the girls - although most of the girls were usually younger.
Receiving his Hogwarts letter was no surprise - he had been expecting it and anticipating it for years. Even at the tender age of eleven he was sure that Hogwarts was the place for him. He knew that it would be the place where he would finally be able to break free from his family and let loose and make more friends, and of course, he had dreams of being on the Quidditch team. He was sorted into Slytherin like his father had told him he would, but the hat dithered for a while. It was a very close call between Ravenclaw or Slytherin, but Colton may have wished the hat to say Slytherin because he did not want grief from his family for breaking tradition. He has the brains for Ravenclaw, but the family for Slytherin as well as some personality traits that fit well into the serpent house. He has been a beater on the Slytherin Quidditch Team since his second year - the youngest age someone can be on the team - and he still remains in the team four years later.

RP SAMPLE:
Colton burst into a bright smile as soon as he saw who he had bumped into. Isabelle Rosier. He had been friends with her for so long now that he had lost count, but it was all thanks to their families. All the pureblood traditionally Slytherin families seemed to keep up relations with one another, and banquets and meetings were often held. It was through these gatherings that Colton had first become acquainted with Isabella and it was safe to say that they'd hit it off. Those gatherings had sometimes been agonising for Colton because either he was the only child there because his parents had decided to bring him along, and the other families had left their children at home, or he was there but all the other children were people he whacked heads with or ones that were simply too far out of his age range for him to have any proper conversation with. Having a conversation with a one year old was possibly one of the hardest things he had ever been told to to do, but having a conversation with a ninety year old senile old man had also proven difficult. Sometimes the sheer snobbery and strained atmosphere had almost become too much for even him - many of the adults had huge egos and pride that always seemed to clash in some way or another, even if they tried to make it seem as if everything was dandy.
However, he also had good memories of all of it. He'd found a quidditch buddy and good friend and rival in Charlize Crabbe, and of course he had struck gold by approaching Isabella and saying hello to her. He'd made his first friends by going to those gatherings and without them he would have been a complete loner before going to Hogwarts. Heck, if he hadn't gone to them then his social skills would be down the pit. He was an only child so he hardly had any children to interact with at home, and his house was deathly silent half the time. His father seemed to always be away and his mother kept to herself, always acting as if someone had just died. Smiling seemed to be a yearly occurrence with her. It was safe to say that Colton had come to prefer Hogwarts to his own home, although of course....his home was his home.
"Isabella," Colton replied, the smile still on his face as he gave her a quick once over. He had always noticed her beauty even when he had first met her and he thought it had only grown over time. Yes, he thought she was beautiful, which was special really since Colton didn't just think that about anyone. There were the girls around the school that dressed provocatively and caked their faces in make-up, then went out thinking they were the hottest thing on the planet, but they were vile. They had nothing on Isabella; she had natural beauty. He wasn't really sure about certain things though. He viewed her as a close friend of his, but beyond that he felt a sea of confusion for what he felt and wanted. So he just let things continue like they were. "I know! We shouldn't let ourselves not see each other for so long. I missed you." He contemplated her question for a few seconds before shrugging nonchalantly. "I've been good - normal really. Quidditch and lessons and a few outings. Nothing that out of the norm seems to be going on at the moment. My brilliant grades are still continuing and I am still a monster beater." He grinned as he said the last part jokingly, allowing himself a slightly egotistical moment. " What about you? What have you been up to, Izzy?" He leaned against the wall of the corridor as he blinked at her, his peripheral vision just picking up the students walking in all directions of the busy corridor. Some people said it was not possible for boys to have girls as close friends, but he thought that whoever had said that must have been high on muggle drugs.
