Callisto Virgo Black
THE SCARS OF YOUR LOVE
remind me of us - - - - - -[/center]
[/i] Callisto was miraculously blonde, considering that the Black Family is known for it’s dark looks. Though she has to admit her hair is dark blonde, dirty and ashy, somewhat a hybrid of light hair and dark hair. She very rarely does anything with her hair, allowing her naturally wavy texture have it’s way. Her hair is surprisingly thick and voluminous, moving and bouncing with a mind of it’s own. It Gives her a more crazed, and wild appearance. Which, if you know Calli, it’s not all that far from the truth.

Slender, is the best way to describe Callisto’s body type. Though she was gifted with her mother’s chest, she is a very lean, delicate looking individual. Her whole life, no one ever trusted her strength due to her size, but she had shown them.

personality: Callisto Black is the definition of a mad genius and has always been the odd one in her family. She truly is bi-polar to say the least. She’s comes across as perfectly rational, thoughtful even, but when you look into her eyes you really see someone who is cool and calculating, constantly analyzing the world around her. There is a certain madness in her eyes too, a taste for chaos hidden by rational thinking and a clever mind.
She had always been considered somewhat mad, that she was driven mad by her own brilliance and upbringing. She had always lived inside her head, always thinking, always stuck on her own emotions that flare up inconsistently, sometimes affecting her better judgement. After hiding her emotions for years underneath a cold hard mask, they just fester inside her, rotting into new forms, until eventually all feelings just become blind fury, and she lashes out. These festering emotions are also apart of her madness.
Love and passion being one of those very emotions that sat inside of her. Callisto isn’t one for relationships, she has seen what relationships had done to people, and she refuses to be hurt by them. She prefers pure lust at it’s finest, giving her a sense fo freedom and power over herself and her identity.
Those who truly know Callisto see past the crazed side of her, they see a girl who’s way of thinking had been morphed into something no longer normal. Why it had become this way was beyond her, she couldn’t even begin to fathom why she had slowly lost a bit of her sanity. Some would say it was just in her nature, the whole Black family was mad...other say that the more into the dark arts she got...the more she lost herself...she is a mad genius after all.
I HEARD ONE ON YOU

father: Alphard Sylvester Black, sixty-two, retired potionmaster
mother:Estelle Felicity Cooper, forty-nine, housewife
siblings: Dominic Archibald Black, twenty-six, Slytherin
_____ _____ Black, twenty, Slytherin
overall history:Callisto Virgo Black was the only daughter of Estelle and Alphard Black, between their two sons. She was often forgotten between the three of them, as often the middle child is. But she never managed to miss her mothers’ dislike of her. Because of her ‘less than Black like’ appearance their was always speculation that Alphard wasn’t the father, sending the parents already hateful relationship into something worse than hell.
Cali latched onto her older brother as source of comfort as a child, and she often would spend hours harassing the youngest Black. He and Dominic got all of the attention, the attention she craved from their mother, and never got. Several times she tried to convince the youngest Black that he was a squib and was going to be disowned. Of course, that made Estelle furious at the girl, straining their relationship even more.
Calli was actually quite the brilliant child, always reading books at a young age, spending hours in her father study when he was gone amongst his books. She had earned her father’s favor, just because she wasn’t one of his sons. She was held in his eyes of something of pride. But because of his interest of her, moe pressure was put on Cali than anyone else. She was soon taught by her father the seed o f her downfall, This made her mother dislike her even more, and put a strain on her brothers’ relationship with her. She had always been daddy’s little girl, her father’s approval wasn’t something she could toss away, no matter how much it strained the rest of her siblings.
When Dominic left for Hogwarts the year was absolutely dreadful. Alphard would disappear for days to weeks at a time, leaving the youngest Black and Callisto alone with Estelle. She spent those days being completely shunned by her own mother, not a word passing between the two. So Cali spent the days, pinning away, reading her books and sneaking into her father’s study, reading all the books that she could find, including several on the dark arts, including several on Legilimency.
When Callisto finally got her Hogwarts letter she was brimming with excitement, and when she got onto that train her excitement only increased. During the ceremony, she wanted desperately to continue on the Black family line in Slytherin, Dominic was in Slytherin, so should she. But the Sorting Hat had other plans for her, better plans. She was placed in Ravenclaw, for her cleverness and intelligence. And it was a good fit for her. She was thankful though, that several other prominent pureblood families had children in Ravenclaw, she never really felt out of place.
Callisto was naturally brilliant, so her classes came to her with ease. Unfortunately, in her house their were several muggle-borns that she held high distain for, but she didn’t dare do anything more than verbally assault them behind their backs or occasionally to their face she was more civil about the whole thing, unlike her brothers. Callisto honestly preferred to just mess with them with mind games and fake gossip. She had always been good at playing mind games with others, and these games were only simple ways for her own skills to flourish.
She had several lovers and boyfriends during her time at Hogwarts, sometimes just for fun, other times because she genuinely liked them. Though it was hard to tell if Callisto genuinely liked someone or not. Usually it was all about the passion and pleasure nothing more nothing less. This part of her life set her up for her future veiws of love as well as her parents hate for each other as she grew up.
Upon graduating, Callisto scored some of the highest scores on the O.W.Ls and N.E.W.Ts. and quickly applied for a job in the ministry of magic. She, despite her interest in the dark arts had always wanted to be an Auror, and from her personal knowledge, she passed the auror’s test with flying colors. After many years of hard work and many arrests, she was granted the position of Head Auror. And when her elder brother came to her with the proposition of joining the death eaters, well she didn’t hesitate...all the power that could come from such a group...she could only fathom.

role play sample: A post from Marauders Era site, James PotterJames stumbled out of the castle in the most disheveled state, hidden underneath the folds of his cloak. He had tried to find his Invisibility cloak but it had mysteriously disappeared. He knew or hoped that Sirius or Remus had taken it. He had spent the past 20 minutes sneaking around in a cloak and boxer shorts, holding his wand in one hand and a pair of rubber boots in the other (he couldn’t put the boots on yet...they were too loud for sneaking.) He didn’t have the time to dress, he was to worried about his friends!
He had completely forgotten it was a full moon! He had simple just woken up to see a shinning bright disk in the sky. Remus and Sirius were going to kill him. Since Peter had went home for the holidays it was just the three of them. And he had left poor Padfoot to deal with Moony all by himself. Nothing was worse than watching Remus transform. He hated it, that was his least favorite part of the night. As long as there wasn’t any humans around, he often found it rather fun to go run around with a wolf and big black dog. But tonight it wan’t all that fun, he had a feeling.
He tripped and stumbled as he tried pulling on his rubber boots as he made his way toward the Whomping Willow. As always, the tree beat the crap out of him as he enetred the passage to the Shrieking Shack. The smell of smoke hit his nose as he entered the shack. What the bloody hell? he thought to himself. He could already see that Remus had shifted. There was a destroyed door and...well a lot of obvious signs of destruction.
James stumbled out the destroyed door only come face to face with a thick smoke and fire. He took out his wand and said, “Aguamenti.”
Water gushed from the tip of his wand and managed to douse the fire in it’s entirety. All that was left was the smoldering patches of grass and the thick greyish black smoke that seemed to linger. James waved his wand and the smoke dissipated, allowing him to see in the distance. What he saw he really made him easier, and proved to him that this night was just going to go horribly wrong.
“What the bloody hell!” he shouted in absolute shock. He saw the lumbering form of Remus as a werewolf, stalking it’s way to a very human Sirius. Not good not good at all. And then what scared him even more was the forms of the ever so lovely Andromeda Black and the future lady of Remus Lupin, Emmeline Vance. Usually James would rather enjoy seeing the two lovely ladies but for right now. He was down right concerned and mad. How the hell did they get here!
James would have to worry about that later. He was concerned that his beastly best friend was about to pounce on his other best friend...probably kill him if Sirius wasn’t smart about it. There was no use of another human joining the mix so James shifted into his stag form, and charged toward the werewolf, snorting as his hooves hit the burnt grass. James lowered his horns and knocked the werewolf to the ground, no doubt puncturing his furry side with his prongs. He then positioned himself between Remus and Sirius, horns lowered as he pawed the ground, snorting. He couldn’t speak of course, but he hoped that Sirius would shift back into his animagus form so they could Remus under control. But deep down he knew that there was nothing they could do with two human about. This night was going to suck, and he was afraid that tonight was one of those nights that...well...Remus was gonna wake up with his shit kicked. He didn’t want to hurt his friend but, he knew he wasn’t there anymore.
His head perked up as he saw the girls coming toward them. JAmes snorted and rolled his dee eyes as best he could. How frustratig, why couldn’t they of just stayed up in that tree? He looked at Sirius through the corner of his eye with a look that said, ‘This gonna be a night from hell, mate , are you in?’
