THE SCARS OF YOUR LOVE

Ok, so maybe Raphael was a little bit off his rocker. He still makes a great auror.....
He hasn't actually killed anyone yet, or really hurt anyone innocent.
So what happened to the ones who weren't innocent?
I heard he roughed up some poor muggle-born, before throwing him in Azkaban.
He's quite a charming guy. He's just....a little strange.
============================= =============================
Raphael, he's certainly something isn't he? He has quite the reputation around England. Born to two notorious death eaters, then growing up to join the Ministry of Magic with his brother? Who saw that coming? Anyone who knew him in school would have thought he was going to just skate through life on his father's money. He was lazy, rude, and anti-social. On very few occasions did he ever show the ability to hold down a job. It wasn't his fault though. He was sort of raised that way. He was always left alone, his parents never actually payed attention to him. It had been his younger brother who got all the attention. While his sister, got attention for being the black sheep. Raphael never wished for more though. He was content with his life and happy with where he stood. It left him to his own devices and he thought a lot of interesting things in his solitude.
At first he despised his brother. The kid had shown magical ability four years before he did. It bothered him. For many years, his parents worried that he had been born a squib. That would have ruined the family name. Little Raphael, would have never lived to see the end of things if it had been true. No one liked a squib, it was like becoming a muggle. It would taint the family blood-line. But right as he was going to give up, he showed signs of magic. Running around in the huge living room one night, he tripped over a table and knocked over the vase, but he suspended it in mid-air and kept it from breaking. So little Ralphy actually had magic after all? He got his letter the same time his brother did and they made plans to get ready to begin the most important chapter of their lives.
His years at Hogwarts were great fun for him. He easily fell into a crowd of rowdy and cocky Slytherins who terrorized the rest of the school. He was known for being a bully and a brute and he was quite fine with that. It gave him a sense of importance, and a sense of power. His magic wasn't very powerful, but his fists were. He was a star quidditch player, which gave him a slightly buff body. The kind that made him consider becoming a beater before he joined his brother as an Auror. Right away he started to abuse his powers. He got away with abusing many muggle born wizards and witches and threw a lot of innocent people in jail. He supports his brother's visions one hundred percent and hopes to become the world's biggest general when pure-bloods take over.

role play sample:Rabastan wondered about the parents of the students. They no doubt, wouldn't like the fact that a former, well known Death Eater was teaching at the school. Not that he was as notorious as Bellatrix was, she of course was widely known, first name and all. The boy's were known only really by name to those that worked for the ministry or those that honestly cared. Their last names were complete giveaways of course, but they had kept a considerably lower profile then Bellatrix had. While she had gone around flaunting her murders and toying with people, they had done theirs in private, keeping the kills quick concise and to the point. And that's not to say that the younger Lestrange didn't want to be so open with his killing or as flashy and flamboyant, he just didn't care for all the blood or panic that it would sometimes induce. Though he may have been a cold-blooded killing machine, he could also have the mind of a teenage girl when it came to dead bodies sometimes and he just retched at the thought of having to clean up the dead bodies. It was strange to say the least and a pain in The Dark Lord's side to have one of his best killers acting so bi-polar but the Lord made allowances knowing it wasn't really his fault. A muggle would probably diagnose him with medical bi-polar disorder. It had driven Rodoulphus insane when they were younger and as they got older his brother pretty much ignored him whenever he had days like that. Bellatrix didn't ever seem to mind, in fact it was almost as if she enjoyed that side of him, poking fun at the prude Bastan whenever he acted like that and enjoying the banter he threw at anyone who tried to challenge him.
Here at Hogwarts he had managed to keep his mood swings under control. Freaking out on one of his students and hexing them really wasn't an option because they would no doubt send him right off to Azkaban (or try to anyway) and he would end up failing the task that the Dark Lord gave him. And Rabastan never wanted to fail his Lord. Sometimes he might get a little moody with the staff though. Out of sheer agitation, because he knew they were watching him. Waiting for him to show any signs of his old self. The good thing about that? It showed that he didn't care for them being so worried about his business which might give some indication that he really was changed. The bad thing? It prevented him from getting along with the other staff members. There was Severus but the two of them never really talked so far, it was almost as though they were both distancing themselves from one other. Like the marks on their arms repelled each other. And the more he thought about it, he wasn't really sure if he did want to talk the greasy haired git. He had never really been one his group when they went to school and Severus had been a touch older then him, probably by a year or two which meant they never had any classes together. So Bastan's limited knowledge of the man kept him from ever really wanting to reach out to him. Bastan never liked the idea of having to talk to someone that he didn't know that well. It was harder to manipulate them or figure out if they are trying to manipulate you.
The man shifted his position on the windowsill when he heard the soft rustling of wings. He watched a snowy white owl fly out the window and he turned to see a student standing in the owlerly. It took him a minute to place a name with the face but then he realized it was one of the Potter brats. Harry, actually a troublesome gryfindor. The Potter girl wasn't so bad, sure she was also annoying to him but at least she had some magical talent. He really couldn't understand why they would want to go to the same school that their mother taught at. He would have begged to been shipped of to Bauxbatons or Durmstang instead. And on Lilly's part he wondered if it felt like she was having to babysit her own kids. The family dynamic was a bit ridiculous to him. Rabastan had to deal with his own brother's children at this school as well as the Malfoy child. Now that was definitely like babysitting and he resisted the urge to smack any of them when they did something foolish. Especially Fabien he was older and deserved to get smacked when he acted out. But, they were not his kids even if they were blood and Malfoy was free to do as he pleased, even though he should have the sense not to ruin his family name.
He addressed the boy with a polite nod of his head and a small smile, trying not to seem hostile.
"Good morning mister Potter.",he acknowledged. Just because you didn't like someone that didn't mean you had to show it. He'd play up his charms this year just as he did back in the old days. Besides he doubted the boy even trusted him, so he'd be best of trying to be nice about this.
