strengths:
quidditch; well she is a professional quidditch player. she absolutely loves her job and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. and being good with quidditch she is also excellent with a broom.
pain tolerance; with having an older brother carissa learned quickly that she couldn't cry over every little scrap and bruise. this helped later on when she would get knocked off her broom or when she got hit with a bludger during a quidditch match.
determined; once carissa rae has her mind set on something she is going to do it. there is no changing her mind and she thinks this is one of her best qualities.

her father's opinion of her; she is always trying to please her father with the decisions she is making but always seems to come up short.

overall history:
Carissa Rae was born on a snowy February thirteenth and ruined her parents Valentines Day. Of course they weren't excited for their last child, they were disappointed they had to cancel their diner reservations. She was the last child with an older brother two years older than herself and a sister who was six years older. Right away Carissa got along better with her brother than her sister. The age gap seemed to distance them the most.
Carissa likes to think that she was on a broom before she was walking. Her mum bought her one of those toy brooms, that hover just a few feet above the ground. No one ever thought that Carissa Rae would take such a liking to it. She wouldn't go anywhere without that thing and whenever she went outside she was in the air before her parents could object. She broke them constantly by trying to get them to go faster or higher. Multiple times she fell off the broom only to get right back on with her knees bruised and bleeding.
All the children were told a few months before there mother passed away that she was sick. That the Healers at the hospital couldn't help their mother. Carissa didn't know what that meant but she watched as her older sister ran off to the room they shared crying. She looked up to her brother but he looked equally confused. What was there mum sick with? And why couldn't the healers help her? Carissa was the one to watch her mum pass away since both her siblings were away at school. She went into the room to wake up her mum and when she didn't wake she got scared. Her father was at work so Carissa kept shaking her mom and screaming for her to wake up. Her father found her there hours later next to the bed, in shock.
It took a lot for Carissa to accept the fact that her mum wasn't coming back. She quickly lost her smile and became very cold towards everyone. Her love for flying didn't stop and if anything she spent a lot more time outside and by this time she had an actual broom. Her temper became short and by the time she went to Hogwarts the only person close to her was her brother. When she went up to be sorted and the hat yelled Slytherin! Carissa Rae was the only one surprised. She thought that maybe she would have been in Hufflepuff with her sister but never Slytherin with her brother.
Hogwarts for Carissa's first two years were pure torture. She wasn't allowed to try out for Quidditch even though she knew she was better than most of the students on the team. The only thing that kept her sane was watching the matches and flying around the pitch when the house teams weren't practicing. Third year she went out for the team and beat a returning student for the chaser position. She was certainly smug when she got the position and quickly made some enemies in the house. By her fifth year Carissa was already being scouted by professional Quidditch teams and what helped even more was that she made captain that year. Her grades were always a problem but once she found out that she was being scouted those quickly went down the drain. Why would she need grades if she was going to play Quidditch for the rest of her life?
Before Carissa graduated she knew that she would be playing for Puddlemere United. She loved the team and even better she would be a starter. There would be no sitting the bench for her. Her first year on the team she managed to have the most points scored by any chaser on the team however the second year she was out half the year due to a bludger to the head. That injury annoyed her and still bothers her to this day; sometimes getting strange dizzy spells or not remembering something she as just told.
Carissa Rae has always considered herself neutral when it came to what side she would be on if there was a new dark lord. But since over the years Rae has always looked up more to her brother than her sister she sees herself leaning more toward the death eaters. She knows she can't do much since she is just a Quidditch player but she would be loyal if she decided to go that direction.
