ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
!If it hadn't been for her clear lack of moral standings - or assumed lack of any kind of morality by her peers - vivenne probably wouldn't be in her current predicament. she had chosen to betray the trust of her peers over and over again for months without having the decency or courage to come straight out and say "i am vivenne rosaria and i think this, this, and this." instead the girl hid behind the facade of the alias, gossip girl and completely destroyed many people. frequently the blog entries caused enough drama to last most people a life time, but all the issues and chaos that they brought up were settled within a matter of weeks. just within enough time for more drama to be stirred up via a mere key stroke by an anonymous source. well, anonymous at one point during her career as the loose lipped gossip girl. it seemed to be a lot easier than vivenne had ever anticipated to simply type up a few words of whatever assumptions that her fellow students had made about their so-called friends. it wasn't actually all vivenne, true she was the one that publishes it for the entire school and more to see. plus, she had a life, and it wasn't as if she had the time to go around stalking everyone just so she could figure out their deepest, darkest secrets. no, the students were manipulative and dishonest enough to betray their closest friends for their own personal reasons and vivenne didn't ask questions or look to find the truth. as soon as everyone discovered her identity - thanks to a certain boy with a bigger mouth than her own - vivenne knew that the repercussion was not going to be all that easy. without even knowing who she was, half the school already hated her. that was the main reason why the moment a new gossip girl blog was made, vivenne knew she was in for hell. before she was able to get bombarded with insults and a mob formed, she wanted to make sure the people that mattered - or person, mostly - knew that it wasn't her fault. though, it didn't quite matter when the rest of the school wasn't quite as trusting and forgiving as caesar seemed to be. marie was just one example of the population that suddenly hated her guts. again.
- - - - - - That was her main reason for wanting to leave california for a few days. not long, just a day or two so that when she came back, hopefully some of the anger and disappointment was thrown off her and it would be a hundred times easier to talk them back into believing it wasn't her. she didn't do it, and she hated that someone would go and pretend to be her. although, it would be solved. whatever it was, whoever had done it, vivenne wasn't going to let the person affect her. going to las vegas with caesar, getting completely wasted, and running around casinos...that sounded like a perfectly fine way to forget her current problems. even if it was only a temporary fix. she always told herself and everyone around her that running from her problems was not a good thing, that it wasn't practical, and here vivenne was being a complete and utter hypocrite by running off to las vegas. all to escape the inevitable chaos that was going to follow the successor to the gossip girl dynasty. hopefully people would notice that it wasn't her style of writing and they would realize that vivenne wasn't that big of a liar as to go about saying she wasn't gossip girl, when she had already been found out once. she had learned her lesson and felt increasingly guilty about what she did every time she saw exactly how bad she had affected people. vivenne tried not to allow her guilt to show but there were the few people that she actually allowed emotion to be revealed when talking to in the school chat box or otherwise. it wasn't in her nature to go around being emotional or acting anything but optimistic in every situation. allowing people to see how something was affecting you, only made them win. it made them see your weakness' that vivenne didn't like. vivenne was generally very open about her thoughts and opinions, especially her view points on situations. that was the type of person she was, even if she also seemed to be a bit of a bitch. a very manipulative one at that.
- - - - - - Although the trip was incredibly last minute, vivenne was pretty happy that she was even going to be able to go at all. she had anticipated caesar saying no as his most final answer. it may have taken a bit of prodding and practically begging him to go along with her plans, but in the end, vivenne was able to successfully get him to the los angeles international airport and on the quick flight into the city of sin. vivenne had been to the city a couple of times in the past, but was never allowed to do all that much seeing as it was with her family. it was one of those things where the parents drag you to a city that could potentially be a bundle of fun - even if incredibly hazardous - so they lock you up in the hotel room the entire trip and only have one or two possible functions that they deem "acceptable" for a young lady to partake in said activity. this time, there were no mother and father to tell her no, and most of her family was in vermont, so there was no one else around to repremand her for going somewhere that could very well get her into even more drama than she had initially been trying to avoid. did vivenne sincerely care about how much potential drama could be started by this? not particularly. did she care that she was going to be sharing a room with a boy that happened to be in a steady relationship? not at all. she wasn't going to las vegas in order to seduce caesar and make him stray from vegas. true, they had been in a relationship that lasted about a milisecond, before he went back to vegas. but vivenne knew that it wasn't going to last, it was practically a joke; she held no hard feelings towards vegas due to this, and this was not a ploy to steal caesar. best friends are definatly allowed to hang out and do nothing sexual. thus, the reason why vivenne really didn't care why sort of impression this trip gave off. everything she did was all with good intentions, nothing - minus the gossip girl blogs - had ever been done to intentionally cause distress to a friend.
- - - - - - For what vivenne anticipated being a day that she would be able to look back on and laugh quite a great deal on, and actually remember as quite a good day when she went back to blair, it was a day that would hardly be remembered at all. from the time she had got up around five that morning to the time she left for the airport with caesar, her activities were fairly clearly remembered. after the plane landed, before doing anything else, vivenne wanted to drop off the small luggage she had brought for the few days they would be here and almost instantly.had dragged caesar to the first casino - getting in off her older sister's old id and the fact that she looked over eighteen. caesar had planted the idea of counting cards in her head, and instead of taking it as a joke of some sort, she had gotten the idea and ran with it. attempting to convince caesar that it was completely and utterly possible for them to win a millior dollars that they didn't need by counting cards. there was one major flaw in the plan, though. caesar wasn't lying when he said he was bad at math. drinking in the casino for a few hours, making some attempts at winning - not even for the fact of the money, but for the fun of it all - and making an attempt at the whole counting cards idea, it was all quite a bad plan for anyone sane. then again, since when had any of vivenne's plan's that sounded fun and harmless to her, actually been a sane plan for anyone else? basically never. after being caught in their pitiful attempt at counting cards, thrown out of the casino, and probably banned for life, vivenne had given up on the idea before she risked causing caesar to despise her for even suggesting it. from that moment on, the entire night was a blur. there were moments of time that stood out like a clear image in her head as if she was reliving every moment over and over again. then there were times where she had completely blacked out and what seemed to be large gaps in her memory occured.
- - - - - - This was the main cause of her waking up in a bed without ever even remembering going to sleep, and waking up with a massive head ache the size of texas. without even being fully awake, vivenne brought her hands against her temple, attempting to massage the ache away. sitting up quickly, throwing the blankets off her, vivenne attempted to stand up before catching the second form laying in the bed. at that moment, her footing on the plush carpeting slipped and she nearly fell, only to catch herself on the matress. taking a deep breath and puffing out her cheecks, vivenne knew very well that her vow not to allow anything bad to happen during their trip to vegas was basically ruined. standing up, quite unsteadily, she made her way to the duffel bag that had carelessly been tossed to the side the previous day in her attempt to hurry things along and get back out onto the town. carelessly shuffling through the bag, vivenne tugged some clothes out and made her way to the shower. it wasn't long before vivenne noticed the silver band wrapped around her left ring finger and she nearly lost her mind at the realization this brought. hurrying the shower along, vivenne took practically no time at all in drying herself and putting her clothes on - even with her skin still being partially damp. going back out into the main part of the room, she had to wake up caesar. he needed to know what they had done last night - if he didn't already realize it himself. she wouldn't have minded the whole waking up in bed with caesar mccarthy, if it wasn't for the piece of metal plated in silver that adorned her finger. pulling her hair into a pony-tail, vivenne approuched the curtains, pulled them wide open - causing her to flinch slightly at the sunlight that flooded the room - and went to return to wake up caesar. seeing a small packet of papers sitting on the floor, she sweeped them up on her way to plopping down on the bed. the few papers being some flyer for the "drive-thru chapel," the marriage license, and a few other pointless papers that went along with being married. " 'morning, sleeping beauty, you might want to look at your hands, and read up, " dropping the papers on his chest. the whole concept was starting to sink in and it was actually starting to be quite amusing. without thinking, she allowed a laugh to escape her lips. she knew this probably wasn't going to be found as amusing by anyone else, but it was a silly little thing that was an alcohol induced accident and could be easily solved after they had recovered from the previous night. " so, princess, the question of the day: how does it feel to be married to vivenne rosaria? " yawning widely before rubbing her eyes again. feeling the pain that the horrible sunlight was affecting her head as the hangover was racing through her body. it was easier to pretend that she wasn't hungover than acknowledge it and be sitting at the toilet for the next twenty-four hours.
