There was no school today and everything was quiet on the rez, just the way she liked things. Sure, she liked the ocasional vampire fun, but today, Maddie, just really didn't want to deal with this things. She really just wanted to go to the beach and relax. Maybe even take a swim. Of course, she really didn't need to tan, but hey, if there was sun, she was all for it. She had been sitting at her desk studying for a test when she had basically fallen asleep ontop of her books. Sure, she wasn't as dedicated as some people, but she needed to get more into her school work, so that she could finish this year of school. Sure she had passed everything so far, but she still didn't know what the hell she wanted to do with her life. Yea, she had shifting, but she wanted something else to do. Putting her books back into her bag, she moved across her room. Her house was pretty big, so her room was a pretty good size. Big enough for a four poster california king bed and of course she was childish, because it was covered with stuffed animals, but she didn't care, no one ever saw her room and god, she was still childish. Sitting on her bed, she pulled her tenis shoes off and looked at her night stand, where the picture of Brian still sat. She needed to just put those away. He had moved away and he wasn't coming back, so why did she still hold on? Letting out a breath, she pulled her socks off and walked back across her room to her dresser where she grabbed her swim suit and a pair of black leather pants and a tank top. Walking out of her room to the bathroom, she shut the door and loccked it.
Of course, it was only her and her father in the house these days. He hardly ever had any women over. She kind of wished her dad would find someone. Maddie knew everything about the pride and about imprinting. Her father had never imprinted, obviously, because he would be in pain, right? She knew her father still loved her mother, she could see it in his eyes, but he had moved on. He just never kept anyone around. Though, Madison loved her father, he was the number one man in her life. He had been there throughout her whole life. He had never once disowned her like her mother had and she cherished him for it. She was daddy's little girl, even to this day. He of course was one of the dad's that would go after a guy with a shot gun if he ever hurt his little girl, though he was ok with her dating. He had never really liked Brian, but he knew how much Madison had liked him, so he never said anything and he never said 'I told you so', when they had broken up. Letting out a sigh, she cleared her mind of her thoughts and pulled her hair down from her pony tail. She stripped the rest of her clothes off and jumped into the shower, letting the water beat down upon her. Of course, extremely hot wanter didn't bother her, because of her normal temp of one oh eight. After washing herself, she moved out of the shower, drying herself off, she pulled on the black bikini that she had bought herself only a few days ago. Then she pulled on the black leather pants, jumping a bit to get them past her hips. Sure, they were tight, but all the boys liked to see her in them. Sure, Maddie liked the attention she got from guys. Maybe not some of the remarks that she had heard, but the looks she got, god, they were priceless. Pulling on her white tank top, she brushed her teeth and blow dried her hair.
Once she was all ready to go, she ran down the stairs, walked into the kitchen, grabbed a bottle of water, yes, she was a slight bit of a health freak, something that had followed with her to her shifter life. Walking to her father's study she told him she was going to the beach for a few hours and before she left, she pulled on her black combat boots and her leather jacket and headed out the door to the garage, where her cherry red crotchrocket sat waiting for her. Oh yes, this girl loved motorcycles. She had been begging Levi to teach her motorcross. Though he hadn't give in yet, 'its dangerous' blah blah. She was going to get her way one way or another, she knew it, because she wanted to do it and what she wanted she usually got. Walking her bike out of the garage, she didn't bother to put a helmet on. Swinging one leg over, she gunned it to life, pulling back on the gas a bit she smiled as it reved up. God, she loved this thing. Easing on the gas, she moved her feet to the boards and took off down the street. The wind in her hair was the best thing in the world, she felt free. She had her ipod in her pocket and a towel shoved in the compartment under her seat, that was all she needed. It didn't take long to get to the beach, since she drove kinda crazy like. Of course, she lived on the rez, like anyone else that was in their tribe. Though, she knew short cuts to get to the beach. Parking along the sideway, or boardwalk, whatever you wanted to call it, she lifted her leg over the bike after she had shut if off, and she began to unzip her coat, but stopped as she looked across the sand at the people there. Smirking, she unzipped her jacket the rest of the way, pulling the towel out of her cubby hole, she shoved her jacket in there. Next she unzipped her pants and pulled them down, taking off her boots in the process. She knew people were looking, but she didn't care. After she was down to just her bikini, she grabbed her towel, pulled it over her shoulder and grabbed her ipod and turned around and started walking down the beach.
