LITTLE DARLING, THE SMILES RETURNING TO THE FACES
little darling, it seems like years since it's been here

Hogsmeade had been seeming more and more appealing to Eglantine Longbottom over the past month or so. She had almost completely avoided it after she graduated from Hogwarts, but as she had entered her twentieth year…all she wanted to do was go back to the place that reminded her of those days at Hogwarts. Back when she didn’t have a job, and back when things just seemed so easy. She liked that. Yeah, she still lived with her parents, but she wanted to be a kid for as long as she possibly could. Forever if she could manage it. Growing up was not on her to-do list, and she didn’t want to add it anytime soon. For now, Hogsmeade would suffice for helping transport her back to those days. Especially when she could go to one of her favorite stores ever invented – Weasley Wizard Wheezes.
Apparating directly in front of the store, Lana smoothed out her silky v-necked baby blue tank dress (muggle clothes always seemed so much more interesting to Eglantine), before walking into the shop. Her eyes darted around at the immense supply of items that surrounded her. She couldn’t decide where to begin; it all looked marvelous to her. Pranking had always been one of her favorite pastimes, and the interesting potions were always some of her favorites. She got many ideas just from walking around, and of course, she often left with many new toys to try out on unsuspecting (or sometimes very suspecting) people. Slowly, she walked along the wall, scanning each shelf in front of her as she walked.
Suddenly, she stopped. Something sparkly was peeking out, she could see, right in the corner of her eye. Lana could never stay away from something that sparkled; she never had been able to. Quickly, she dashed over to the sparkly object. Her eyes shimmered, gleaming with joy as she picked up the oddly shaped object. It would be one of those things that you actually had to read what the label said before you knew what it was, but Lana was much too busy admiring it to get around to reading some stupid label. She was wishing that all her plants would sparkle like that, and trying to think of a potion that could make that happen…or if it was possible to make one. She didn’t even realize that anyone was near her. No, the sparkly object was much more interesting than anything else.

LITTLE DARLING, I FEEL THAT ICE IS SLOWLY MELTING
